"Bookcase - building"

What happens when the children lay their hands on an architect’s tools, cardboard, wood, screws, paint? Can ideas be transformed into space and create scattered small libraries throughout school? The children co-envision, co-create and leave their imprint on the school through spot interventions/small spaces of books and reading, so that the whole school might be read as an unending library.

Library

What are the needs that led mankind to create libraries and how have these needs changed? What sorts of libraries exist and how are they organised? How do books find their place in libraries? Do they have identity cards like people? We browse in the school’s library, we discover books, we recommend them to others. We penetrate into the most hidden parts of an outstanding library and we learn its secrets firsthand.

Gardening

What might the heart of a tree hide? Why are poppies red, when do strawberries ripen and why does jasmine smell? We discover names, secrets and desires of the world’s greatest kingdom. We use plant pots, trowels, spades, secateurs, earth, flower beds, seeds. As aspiring gardeners, we undertake to plant a vegetable garden, to weed, to water, to take care of the trees and flowers inside and outside the school premises.

Ballet

How does one turn, jump, fall, balance oneself, stand? How do we dance in our very own, unique way? We express ourselves with our bodies; we give movement and rhythm to our ideas.
