The Hill School proudly boasts close on 200 years' presence in the educational community. The school was established in 1831 and has functioned without fail ever since that date. The school's identity has been forged by its people, its history, its place, its size and its goals. The Hill School is a Greek private school. It is composed of a Preschool and a Primary School. It is a democratic, open, friendly, experimental school. The Hill School is located in the centre of Athens, in Plaka. The school has functioned in the same spot, at the crossroads of N. Nikodimou and Thoukydidou, since 1833, a short while before Athens became the capital of Greece. Today, approximately 300 children aged between 4 and 12 years (Preschool - 6th Grade of Primary School) attend its classes, while over 80 collaborators work on its premises.
